You have to arrange the project of your sister’s wedding party. Some activity during this project such as prepare the invitation (include design the invitation letter, print the invitation, choose the guest list, and distribute the invitation), find the location (could be a lounge or restaurant in hotel), choose the wedding gown (tailor made wedding gown by famous designer), choose the wedding uniform for all participant (family member), choose the catering and also choose the menu and food decoration, choose the documentation team (photo and video), choose the transportation, choose room decoration, choose ceremony decoration, prepare pre-wedding photo session, prepare the pre-wedding reception, and the wedding ceremony itself. The wedding will held in traditional sundanesse manner. Some activity should prepared well such as siraman, pengajian, seserahan, akad-nikah, injak-telor, huap-lingkung, and so on. The ceremony should held in 4 stars hotels in Bandung and some art performance will held on this ceremony such as traditional dance, traditional music and live music by invite 1 or 2 local singer. Because you will be held this ceremony by invite some famous person, you also need to consider security services.
This project will start in 1 April 2011, and the deadline is on 3rd July 2011. You need to prepare your team which consist of all family member and the third party partner such as photographer/video, catering, and wedding gown designer, and you also need to define some resource material needed by this project, such as transportation (car/motorcycle). The total budget for this ceremony is Rp.400.000.000,- (outside of wedding gift/’mas kawin’) and the person who will invite not exceed than 500 people with balance distribution from both side of participant.
Some of your team off course has their routine job so their availability for this project is very limited, for example, maybe only 1-2 hours each day. But some of them can work full day at the ceremonial day, or near ceremonial day, for example, if they get some leave from office hours, say it, 4 days before the party day.
Based on this description, create a project plan which consists of gantt chart, resource allocation, calendar, and critical path for this project. You can add your assumption for complete your plan.
